If you are interested in donating items such as documents, photos (school, family), especially of old Johnston scenes and buildings, or have booklets, posters, or other memorabilia, please contact Jerry Gorden, Archivist, at the address below.  Larger items may be accepted if they are, in some way, associated with Johnston.  The Society is also interested in obtaining display cases.

If you are considering including JSHS in your bequest and would like information, please write the Society at the address below and we will contact you with more information..

Many employers have a matching gift program where they match or double an employee's original gift to the organization or charity.   If you are interested in contributing a matching gift, first inquire to your personnel department and then contact Don Zarley, Treasurer, at the address below.

Some employers offer employee volunteer grants.   Rules vary by employer.  A typical scenario is that an employee volunteers with an approved qualified 501(c)3 [non-profit] organization for a certain length of time or number of hours.  The employer grants a certain matching "gift" or "grant" to the organization in recognition of the the employee's volunteer efforts.
